MELBOURNE FOOD AND WINE FESTIVAL
After the huge success of the Regional World’s Longest Lunch and the four sold out events last year, Finesse Catering Group is once again providing creative dining experiences for the Melbourne Food and Wine Festival in 2019! Flavour meets art as our internationally trained chefs bring their uniqueness of world flavours to collaborate in local artists’ spaces. Understanding the fast paced culinary scene and educated palates of Melbournians, Finesse Catering Group is always staying ahead of the trend and producing exceptional cuisine with flavours unheard of.
Regional World’s Longest Lunch, Friday March 15th
With exclusive access to garden designer and artist Colin Hyett’s hideaway property, you can be one of the privileged few to experience a 4-course feast like no other! Giant succulents, colourful macaws and retro kombi vans are just a glimpse of this Californian desert inspired location. Arriving at the gates of Colin’s sculptural gardens you’ll be greeted with a glass of Jetty Road Breweries finest as you wander the mysterious winding path. This year Colin has converted a streamliner into a bar where guests will enjoy first canapés prepared by Finesse Catering Group. Let your palate run wild with a 3-course degustation as exotic as the landscape! Your favourite Mornington Peninsula caterer will prepare a plentiful feast including an entrée, mains with sides and salads, and dessert all sourced from the region matched with wines from Quealy Winemakers. This sensory overload experience is not to be missed!
PRMITV, Saturday March 16th
Be part of the Melbourne Food and Wine Festival and enjoy Mornington Peninsula catering with a PRMITV dining experience inspired by three words: CHARRED + FLAMED + SMOKED. Expect unparalleled culinary creations cooked in, on and around open flames as you gather with friends and family for an 8-course feast exploring the art of ancient cooking styles from around the world. Keeping a modern edge, Finesse Catering Group will be cooking on freshly blown glass at Leisa Wharington’s Studio & Co as their globetrotting menu walks the line of high-end sophistication to interactive food stations. With live art you can BE the chef and play with fire from the 1300 degree furnace! Fusing art, food and an endless amount of local wines, ciders and gin tastings by Drops Of Juniper – there’s no greater combo for an indulgent evening!
